Keterujaan [Episod 2]

Taufik`s new album is out! Can`t wait to listen to his numbers. And Saly, pls be reminded to put some of your favourites in your phone okkay? Haha. Meeting Saly this Sunday for a movie. Kesian dia, takkan nak tgk sorang2 pulak. Next time just beep me, kalau ada extra cash I`ll go accompany you. Hihihi.

Here are some saliva-dropping (dropping, huh??) desserts I made this week.

The chocolate cupcakes was a recipe from Mamafami`s Fotopages, a very simple one but I like how it tastes and the soft texture is heaven! You can find the recipe here. Ngeee~ While the creamy crab tarts was done with Kak Yasmin`s recipe. Lazy to search the link, coz I printed out the recipe long time ago. I put some tiny apple cubes in there, but no one ever noticed. Rasa ketam itu sangat strong agaknye.

And I`ve finally tasted Ketupat Sotong, one of famous Terengganu`s dish! Made some during weekend with the help of Terengganu chef Noniey. Keke. Tapi tak sempat snap gambar, periuk dah licin.

Ahahaha! Encik boifren, kalau taknak ada persaingan merebut saya cepat-cepatlah jadikan masa awak bermain game itu kepada duit berjuta ringgit. Keke. Jangan marah. Cepat balik, saya hampir gila keseorangan di sini~

Encik Boifren, I Miss You ♥

Seriously!

Encik boifren, dah le kita asik gaduh je minggu ni. Dah le setiap kali gaduh saya yg pujuk awak. Kekeke. Dah le kita jarang abiskan masa bersama kebelakangan ni.

Dah le saya kurang masak breakfast/lunch/dinner untuk awak dalam 2-3 bulan ni. Hari-hari makan cupcake ngn cheesecake je kan. Makin besar la pewot comell awak tu. Heee.

Then semalam awak dah balik kuantan pulak. Saya sedih masa anta awak semalam tau. Nasib baik ada housemates dlm kete, kalau tak saya dah nangis kat situ jugak =p

Awak saje taknak ajak saya ikut balik kan. Tapi kalau awak ajak pun saya takmo ikut. Lalala~ Nanti mak awak cakap saya manja.

Why So Serious?

Hihihi ayat yg ditujukan untuk encik boifren.

Hari ini bermula dgn tidaklah begitu mengujakan. Ada rona-rona mendung dalam hati yg ketara kalau dilihat pada wajah. Cewahh!

I don`t wanna talk about sad things. But soon after 12pm saya mendapat berita gembira secara berturut-turut.

1. Perhimpunan Agung UMNO Mac 2009 (bukan saya excited sbb politik, tapi business *wink*
2. Perfumes yg diorder dari Kak Yati dah sampai (SJP Covet: love it! and Vera Wang Truly Pink: kuat menusuk hidung, tak brp suka la..)
3. Fondant dan gumpaste ordered from Kak Yasmin akan tiba petang ni! (walaupun asalnye dh dpt sorry note poslaju pagi tadi suh amik parcel kat larkin esok, tapi dgn tidak disangka-sangka posmen perfume bg no hp posmen parcel fondant tu, apalagi saya merayu la pakcik posmen minta anta parcel ptg ni jugek =p)

Saya harap biarlah kegembiraan ini sampai ke petang. Janganla mendung lg di tghr. Kekeke. Nak gi main-main dgn cupcakes! Bye.

Q-QQ-QQQ-Quickie Update, No!

Jeng Jeng Jeng. Thesis telah dgn selamatnye disemak oleh supervisor saya. No more correction so esok boleh print and submit. Lalala~ Saya sangat happppppppppppppppppy (cukup 18x P tak? keke)

Pagi tadi saya sgt dup dap dup dap memikirkan tentang tesis. Risau kalau Dr tak puas hati dan minta buat pembetulan lagi. Untuk menghilangkan rasa kedupdapan itu saya mendecidekan diri buat cupcakes. Hehehe. Maka terhasillah 18 biji kek cawan yg sangat comel saya mmg dah plan awal-awal nak bagi Dr supaya bila ternampak je kek cawan itu Dr mungkin akan hilang fokus semasa menyuruh saya buat pembetulan tesis. Ahahaha!

Inilah kek cawan yg saya maksudkan. Walaupun nak buat bunga ros tapi tangan terketar-ketar, akibatnya jadilah macam longgokan dot dot dot berwarna pink. Nooooo!!!

Pastu kan, sebab dah "TER"buat banyak cupcakes tu saya pun letak la 8 ketoi kat bilik rehat staf. Dengan harapan ada la lecturer yg akan impress dgn kecomotan cupcake ku itu. Dan tak disangka-sangka memang ada yg menaliponku untuk order. Saya sgt suka!!! Boleh la letak cheesecake pulak lepas ni. Hee hee.

Dan tadi dinner bersama housematesku lagi. Maaf la encik boifren, saya selalu mengabaikan awak kebelakangan ni, kan. Tapi mmg best jalan-jalan dengan housemates di Sutera Mall tadi. First time la kitorang sampai shopping complex tu. Sgt menarik restorannye, sgt teruja tgk butik pakaian dan kedai kasutnye, dan yg paling penting ada kedai bling-bling henpon! Malangnye saya belum ada bajet utk memblingkan henpon ni lagi. Saya harap kalau encik boifren baca entri ini anda bermurah hatilah hendaknye utk tlg membayar pem`bling'an henpon saya, boleh tak? Ngeee~

Oh, tadi dinner kat Laksa Shack. Nasi daging kicap yg sgt marvelous!

Love is in the air

This is the Shepherd Pie I made last week. The top crust was obviously too thick and as said before, this pie tasted just like my beef lasagne. Kwang kwang kwang. Anyhow it feels our tummy perfectly. Haha!

Last Thursday I got a call from Wani asking whether I can make cupcakes for her cousin`s wedding door gift. I was so excited and went to the baking supplier the next day. Bought some stuffs to make a few samples and here`s the results. [Warning: I`m not good in photo editing at all, so don`t bother to comment on that ya. Heee!]


And I wish that "that someone" will most probably proceed with our deal on another wedding door gift cupcakes project (with topping somemore, I`m thinking of royal icing or maybe fondant) some time mid next year! Can`t reveal who`s who just yet. *winky winky*

Oh well, I finally registered for Kak Yasmin`s baking class in JB this December. Yes finally! After several months finding the perfect day to squeeze in her class in KL which I definitely didn`t get to attend. Can`t wait for the Basic Sugarpaste & Gumpaste Class! I am totally excited about this. You all know, right..

And YES I completed my thesis correction. Though it is a 1st draft only, I really hope that Dr. will approve mine and I won`t be asked to do another correction, again. Arrrghhh.

So that`s it. Jom makan cheesecake! Lalala~

And I made Shepherd Pie this morning, originally extracted from this recipe. Only got the chance to snap photo of the top of it. So I`ll update bila dah bersedia. Hehe. Tapi, pie itu rasanya seperti lasagne, kata kawan-kawanku. Sbb sbnrnye mmg saya buat filling tu mengikut resepi lasagne. Ahaha! Cik nurul ni tak pernah mkn pie actually, kecuali apple or pineapple pie McD tu. So sape2 nak buat pie and bg saya rasa?

Ngeee!

Semalam dah berjaya buat marble chocolate cheese cake seperti yg boleh dijumpai di sini. Tapi sebelum letak gambar untuk tatapan umum, saya nak tunjuk gambar baju laptop saya yg terbaru. Hehe.

Sangatlah excited posmen sampai hari tu. Mula2 nak tido dah, tapi tak jadi sbb tak sbr nak tampal benda ni kat laptopku. Ngeee! Dan, sebenarnye gambar kek itu belum siap edit lagi, so tunggu next entry ya! =)

Minis Makes Me Happy!

I`m so tired to update on anything but I couldn`t resist posting this photo of my latest baking project. Here`s presenting, mini cheesecakes! And for this first assorted flavors mini cheesecakes project, I managed to bake half a dozen of them with MARS nougat topping. Heaven!

You know I`ll be doing some other cheesecakes baking after this. It`s cheesecakes week after all! Haha.

Weekend and Strawberry Cheesetarts

I was supposed to bake cheese tarts yesterday. The cravings started when my housemates and I went to Danga City Mall on Saturday. We were just strolling around and came across this Cheesetarian Tart Cafe. Were thinking of buying some at first but the tarts are sold at RM2.80 a piece or RM11 for a pack of (only) four! I can bake two dozens of my own for that sum of money! So I promised the lovely housemates that I`ll bake a special yummylicious cheese tarts for them on Sunday. But then again Sunday was packed with other activities. The four of us went jalan-jalan and makan-makan and ended up going home with 2 boxes of korean drama dvds. Ngeee =)

Well anyway, finally strawberry cheesetarts were successfully baked tonight. The original recipe was actually using blueberry filling but since I couldnt find it at the bakery shop, I substituted with strawberry jam. Haven`t had the chance to taste them yet but will do tomorrow. Signing off now! Jyaaa~

*We learn archery at Danga City Mall and I have to say that it was really fun!! Sebelum ni jadi archer dgn tekan button kat remote Wii je. Hahaha! So sape nak ajak I dating kat archery centre, jom!!

New Layout. New Bedroom. New Motivation.

Macam tak percaya je dah tukar layout baru. Ahaha! But I really like the design, especially gambar cupcake itu! Saya macam pernah nampak orang guna layout ni tapi tak ingat sape. Anybody knows? Anyhow, this layout was designed by Gisele Jaquenod. There are bunches of other cute designs to choose from.

Last week wasnt as expected. Went to search for some stuffs for my new bedroom. But the room deco wasnt quite completed yet. Then there`s change of plan that makes me abit upset. Maybe. Well, I dont wanna make it sounds like a big and complicated situation. So leave it as it is. And again I forgot to transfer the pic of my sooo-not-completed room! *winks* Later later okkay. Oh, and I now goes online in my room. Lalala~

Next, thesis correction! 2 more weeks left. Done some on grammars. Few pages of discussions on figures yet to be corrected. Hope that I`ll make it by Friday and submit to my supervisor for final checking next week. Then I can concentrate on my cupcakes and cheesecakes! Yayy!

I made a simple oreo-based cheesecake last week and it turned alright. Tak sempat ambil gmbr full cake, 3pcs ni je yg tinggal. Not quite satisfied on the appearance though. But I`d like to try baking some mini cheesecakes with various flavours next. Meanwhile, enjoy these pics of my homemade cupcakes brought to Iryatie and housemates` open house.
